Sneha has been a devoted registered nurse in Canberra for over a decade, witnessing firsthand the struggles and triumphs of her community. Having resided in Yerrabi since 2012 after migrating from Nepal, she has developed a deep connection and commitment to the area and its residents.
Sneha is a strong advocate for domestic violence prevention, mental health crisis intervention, accessible healthcare for all, and improving seniors' quality of life. She is passionate about addressing community disengagement by fostering dialogue and collaboration, aiming to unite residents of different ages and backgrounds to find solutions together.
Sneha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, is currently studying public policy at the University of Canberra and lives with her husband in Ngunnawal.
"I'm motivated by having seen Canberrans waiting in crowded emergency rooms for hours, seniors lacking essential support to live a quality life, members of our community suffering gender-based violence, and the stark reality of homelessness and the mental health crisis."
- Sneha KC, Lead Candidate for Yerrabi
Will you volunteer?
This is a volunteer organisation and we need as many hands as possible supporting the cause. Join Sneha's campaign team today if you want to see her elected to the ACT Legislative Assembly this October!
DONATE TO SNEHA
As independents, we don't have big donors or a party machine behind us. This is a grassroots organisation being built from the ground up. And, unfortunately, political campaigns aren’t cheap! Any financial contribution you can make will make a significant impact on Sneha's prospects of success this October.
