It has been quite the week! We're now just 15 days away from pre-polling officially opening, and Independents for Canberra's candidates have been out and about right across the Territory. We are also getting our fair share of opportunities to speak to the need for change.
We’re hearing that people want our next government to be future-oriented; focused on solutions that are evidence-based for long-term betterment, rather than political expediency.
There's real enthusiasm for community independents to play a role on the cross-bench in the next term of Government. But we also know that the major parties have a war-chest of funding and that sustained effort is required to elect the first independents in a quarter of a century. To that end, in the coming days we'll be making one final push for donations to turbo-charge our advertising on digital platforms as we move into the final phase of this campaign.
Until then, please see a list below of some of the recent media that you might be interested in. Please (please!) share these stories with friends and family who you think might be open to voting independent. Now really is the time to alert people to the power of this movement.
